VERY POPULAR for use in restaurants, schools, department stores, TV and film studios, theme parks, exhibits, displays, entertainment venues and museums.
A unique coating which forms an insulative, crusty char when exposed to heat and fire: puffs up instantly to form a foam-like, protective cellular shield.
USES: as an inert, protective top coat for wood surfaces, foams, plaster, scenery, decor, roof components, around stoves, raceways-anywhere heat and fire protection is needed.
COLOR: flat white; custom colors available; can be tinted with universal or scenic pigments
SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Meets ASTM E-84 Steiner Tunnel Tests with: a flame spread of 20
  • fuel distribution
  • smoke development of 15
  • two (2) coats required for a Class "A" Rating; recoat in 2-4 hours
DRYING TIME: (1) hour
TO APPLY: brush or spray
COVERAGE: 200 sq. ft/gallon
