Glove Coatings

Zeller International manufactures single component, two component reactive and hot meltable polymers which are used as membrane-forming thin-thick films on fiber-rubber-leather gloves.
Rubber surface finishes on cotton and synthetic fabric based gloves are routinely dip applied by dunking-submerging gloves into a wet bath of liquid polymers that range from fast drying solvent based synthetic elastomers to hot melt compositions.
Zeller Internationals film forming elastomers are easy to use formulations that rapidly gel and fuse at room temperature.
Available in clear or pigmented formulas our compounds are used for abrasion resistant demanding trades such as brick, stone, and masonry trades.
Non slip textured grippy elastomers are available for wet slippery requirements.

Our products include:

Neotex
A water based neoprene latex which air dries to a snappy rubber resembling natural latex rubber. Neotex skins-films quickly on cotton or synthetic textiles. Single or repeat dips re-fuse-bond together without de-laminating or separation.
Neotex accepts pigments and fillers for textures and colorful tones from basic opaque to Hot Radiant Day Glo pigments.
Dipped gloves air dry or can be force dried with heat in an oven or drying chamber.
Available in red, black, and natural colors.
Neotex can be thickened gelled for high build wear resistant areas.
Neotex is an odorless water based elastomer which aggressively adheres to saturated fabrics.

Cleartex
A crystal clear solvent based super stretchable thermoplastic elastomer with high physical properties.
Soft pliable and tear resistant. Cleartex can be tinted with pigments and dyes for a range of opaque or translucent results such as glow in the dark effects, hot colors for traffic patrol-flight deck gloves.
Cleartex dries at room temperature or faster with moderate warmth.
Higher-thicker build up are feasible by repeat dipping or by thickening with Thix additive.
Cleartex accepts anti static bacteriostatic-anti microbial additives. Cleartex** is a snappy very soft rubber with excellent anti slip characteristics. A grippy elastomer suitable for glass trades plumbing and problematic handling tasks.
Very easy to use-durable and comfortable. Cleartex is excellent for ergonomic safety gloves in warehouse and manufacturing operations.
Well accepted by fishermen and sea food handlers-processors. Cleartex is superb for icy-slick-cold conditions.
Cleartex can be used for repairs-restoration and specific pattern build up.

Zelflex
A water based milky emulsion which dries clear. Zelflex is a unique aqueous polyurethane based latex polymer which also air dries to a firm coating on fabric based gloves.
Zelflex has a rubbery vinyl like feel and has been used for several years to bridge a film on gloves for plastics-metal handling-polishing operations. Zelflex aggressively adheres to synthetic textiles.
Softer properties are adjusted by adding-co blending Zelflex II a sister product which is also water based. Zelflex II is similar to regular Zelflex but with a softer hand.
Zelflex dries crystal clear enabling logo's-brand marks and promotional advertising copy to be seen through the coating which can be built up to any thickness.
Quartz, carborundum or sand grains can be embedded into the wet dipping for additional grab and grip.
Pigments, dyes are easily dispersed for saturated color.
Crepe like variegated patterns are achievable by adding specialty chemicals, fine ground cork, tire crumb fillers. Ceramic spheres for heat resistance and fire retardant additives for a non flammable-non ignitable surface.

Zelflex II
A water based modified acrylic latex polymer which dries to a very soft elastomer. Zelflex II is also used as a property moderator for regular Zeltex. Physical properties are customized to suit variable tensile, tear, elongation and durometer specifications.
NOTE! Both Zelflex compounds can dry at room temperature or by force drying in an air circulated oven.

"Soft Gels"
Single component melt-and-pour soft impact absorbing gels and elastomers for knuckle-palm and sensitive area protection.
Hot melt thermoplastic compounds which are used to pour preformed raised area cushions and contoured shapes for heat-abrasion absorbing applications to avoid rope-cable-wire handling burns.
Additionally these materials can be injected for conformal shock attenuating ergonomic job fatigue related injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome. Form fitting personalized shapes that match assembly line production tools-hammers, drills and impact wrenches are pre cast and bonded to the glove form. Additional overcoat dip applied films secure the soft gel shape to the gloves fibrous surface.
A range of densities-hardness properties are available for demanding tasks.

Cleartex-Gel Cast
A single component clear elastomer very soft, springy and reboundable. Accepts pigments and fillers for modulous adjustments base durometer-shore "A" of 5.
Melts, pours and cools rapidly for production requirements.

Zelatin
A semi solid amber elastomer. Melts rapidly and sets to a firmer elastomer very tacky and adhesional to fibers. Hardness values of "15" are adaptable by adding-co blending with "Extendoflex" a property modifying lubricant.

Zelly Jelly
A clear meltable gelatinous encapsulating gel. Soft and squishy with a springy feel. Zelly Jelly is an exotic hybrid elastomer. Its properties and feel is different from Cleartex Gel Cast and Zelatin. It too can be modified with Extendoflex and other additives for tonal properties to suit specific barrier requirements such as core filled-ablative gloves for thermal-heat sinking uses.

Fleshtex-Clear
A two component reactive polyurethane elastomer which sets-cures at room temperature to a flexible shore A of 25. Softer variants are adjusted by adding part "c" a flexabilizer-softening agent.
Mixed on an easy ratio proportioning of one to one by volume. Fleshtex-Clear is a pourable liquid rubber with excellent tear resistance.
Poured impact sections, liners and cores are hand or machine poured for thick-thin cross sections.
Heat or elevated catalyst levels can be used to rapidly cure and set cast shapes.
Fleshtex-Clear can be pigmented and filled with specialized conductive- anti static additives.
Softer results with part "c'" enable processors to obtain variable results from a shore A of 25 downward to a gel like elastomer of minus 10.

Specialty polymers
Zeller International custom formulates a wide range of specialty polymers for several industries. Since 1921 we have excelled in supplying natural and synthetic latex compounds.
With a focus on allergen-protein rash/irritation free chemistries our skin kind polymers, lubricating gels and specialties are alternative materials to conventional systems.
Routinely we consult with clients to engineer processing facilities, develop new products and solve problems.
We have participated in programs to add comfort, deter fatigue and enhance safety.
If its glove-gauntlet oriented we can help to make it better, faster and with competitive results.
