Fiberlite

A loose synthetic fiber provided as a dry strand textile in varying lengths from 1/2" to 1 1/2"

Fiberlite (351)
Fiberlite is used as a reinforcement material for synthetic and natural rubber, also as an internal structural additive for concrete, gypsum cements, and composite laminates.
Fiberlite freely disperses in slurry mix cementitious blends. Dispersed at varying ratios for enhanced tensile strength, modulus control, expansion / stretch properties.
Fiberlite is a non-irritating soft fiber, which rapidly wets out and disperses in liquid rubber, precast panels, and sculpture. Scenic and architectural replicas are rapidly strengthened with dispersed in situ suspension of Fiberlite.
Applications:
Rubber Molding Polymer Cements Tilt-Up / Curtain Wall / Precast Concrete Panels
Epoxy / Urethane Castings Insulation Foams Rock-Water / Scenic-Scapes
Shotcrete / Gunnite / Sifcon Ferro Cements Containment Cells & Swimming Pools
Ballistic Shielding Viscoelastic Damping Lagging / Noise Abatement Compounds
Displays, Exhibits, Lawn Ornaments Rotocast Hollow Figures Injectable grouts
Ratio / Proportions:
Fiberlite is used at varying ratios to satisfy application properties. Each cubic yard of concrete requires 1 14 to 2 pounds of Fiberlite. Customized rubber and plastic composites require variable loading of Fiberlite ratio and are tailored to suit each individual situation. From hand sprinkled loosely deposited fibers to bulk loading Fiberlite is used in variable quantities.
Packaging:
Loose strands packaged in five gallon pail lots. Minimum order-one single five gallon pail.
